New Student Registration Page

Thank you for choosing the WordPress Learning Center.

Before we can start your classes, we need some information about your workstation, your existing website and theme, and your training goals.

This information will be needed when filling out the New Student Registration Form in STEP 3.

Your Class Outline

After you have completed the New Student Registration Form, you will be directed to a webpage where you can download your class outline.

Please have a printed copy of your class outline ready for your first class.

STEP 1 – Download the Remote Access Application

Before we can start with your classes, you will need to download the remote access application from TeamViewer.com.

You will need TeamViewer installed on your computer to complete STEP 3!

STEP 2 – Gather Your Information

List of information you will need to complete the New Student Registration Form in Step 3:

1. Your TeamViewer ID Number
2. The Internet Browser you use (if you want to learn to edit CSS, you must have Firefox! Get Firefox Here)
3. The Hosting Provider for your website (Godaddy, Bluehost, HostGator, etc.)
4. Your WordPress Admin and Password information (you must have ADMINISTRATOR LEVEL access to start your training classes)
5. WordPress must be installed before we can start training
1. If you need help, call your hosting provider
2. If you like, we can install WordPress for a setup fee of $59
6. The Name of the Theme You Want to Use
1. If you want to use your existing theme, we will need the name of that theme (or the company/website where you obtained it. Before we can start your training classes, we need this web address to research your theme’s functionality.)
2. If you want to use a FREE Premium theme please GO HERE or HERE, find a theme you like and then enter the theme name in the New Student Registration Form

STEP 3 - Complete the New Student Registration Form

Now that you have:

1. Installed TeamViewer
2. Installed WordPress
3. Gathered all the information from the above checklist
